I can view all of my site maps except post-sitemap.xml. This sitemap is unformatted text in Microsoft Edge or a blank white page in Google Chrome. If I view page source, it’s there, and from what I can tell, it seems that the source code looks identical to other web sites’ using Yoast site maps. I’ve deactivated every plug-in, changed the theme to Twenty Seventeen, turned Yoast site maps on and off, asked my host (Bluehost) to check the htaccess and clear the cache, and still the issue persists. What could it be? My sitemaps are located at: http://www.ericsturgeon.com/sitemap_index.xml
I am using WordPress 5.0 with GeneratePress and no caching plug-ins. I am currently using the free version of Yoast SEO.
