Preload mode and delete all cache

When I enable preload mode it’s clear that it start preloading pages.

But what happens when I delete / clear all cache and the preload mode is enabled? Does it start automatically preloading again? I think this is expected behaviour, but not sure now.

Could this be also clearly stated at the top of the preload tab in the help text?
