Hi, I’m also experiencing titles not showing. I’ve set up a test page on which you will see that for one image the title displays and for another it does not.
The gallery displaying is generated by the Gutenberg gallery block on a 4.9.8 installation.
Both images have both a title and a caption set, and when locking at the database entries for posts and postmeta there appear to be no significant difference.
The only obvious difference is that the image for which the title shows was uploaded yesterday, while the other was uploaded some time ago.
I’ve created a second test using the classic editor (rather than Gutenberg) to create the gallery and for this both titles work.
Perhaps this is an issue with the Gutenberg gallery block?
