Hey there,
I got the following problem. There is an option in advanced settings to allow editors access to the newsletter plugin. When its off everything is as it should be. But when i switch it on it only works in parts.
As an editor there is now the menu entry for Newsletter and i can also access the newsletter dashboard but everything else like the userlist or the list of newsletters can’t load and shows a white page with an failure message like: newsletter_main_main can’t load (my translation from german …)
I’m using the User Role Editor Plugin too and when i give the editor the capability “manage_options” everything works fine. BUT i don’t want the editors to manage my page settings and it is not a normal capability of the editor role!!
How and where do you check wether the user is an editor or an admin?
Which capabilities are involved in the check?
Or is there another problem?
