Cron Job – Unable to establish SSL connection

Trying to set up a cron job at Godaddy for the first time. Use command:
wget http://test.com/?es=cron&guid=xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx > /dev/null 2>&1

Get “Unable to establish SSL connection” message.
What am I doing wrong?
