Auto add the image without clicking update/publish

We are using this plugin to set the product image for over 30,000 products. Ive just read that you need to click update/publish on teh product in order for the image to display.

Is there a way to skip this sstep and have the images show automatically?

Im importing the products and populating the fields the image needs.
