Post Placeholders / Post Tag Attributes

1. In the placeholders panel (Choose a post), it appears that only the latest ten post can be selected. I would like to select posts deeper in the archive via post ID.

Q: How can I specify which post to be displayed by using the post’s ID?

Ultimately looking to accomplish following:

[POST-THUMB size="large" post_id="000"]
[POST-TITLE post_id="000"]
[POST-EXPERPT post_id="000"]

2. Latest posts – post tags doesn’t appear to show THUMBS and EXCERPTS.

I would like to show the latest 3 post from several different categories – ie. Latest News (3). Latest Commentary (3), Editor’s Choice (3).

ie.

[LATEST-POSTS category="editors-choice" show="3" post_thumb="yes" post_title="yes post_excerpt="yes"]

If not possible now, maybe this can be considered a feature request for a later release.

For now, if I could specify the following attributes in the post tags – POST ID, THUMB SIZE; it would be of great help.
