I am doing local development on my mac with wordpress version 4.9.8. I tried connecting to the server via filezilla to change file permissions but it doesn’t connect. I also tried reinstalling from the dashboard but it couldn’t connect to the server either.
PS. I am learning how to make wordpress themes and develope on wordpress. I have no intention of getting a domain.
