Bulk Edit Noindex

I’m trying to bulk edit posts to set noindex for all posts with a specific tag.

I think to do this I need to use a 3rd party plugin for custom field bulk edits. But that presumes the noindex status is being set in a custom field.

Can you confirm if that’s the case? If so, what’s the name of the custom field and what should the value be to indicate it should be noindexed?
