We have a multisite setup and noticed a very large decrease in performance with every release after 2.5. When comparing v2.5 to v2.6.2 with a simple load the home page benchmark with Apache Bench our site is 6 times slower.
I’m happy to try beta releases or assist in debugging in any way possible.
